The Taxi 07 Exhibit is a comprehensive overview of the Design Trust's groundbreaking Taxi 07 Exhibit at the New York International Auto Show at the Jacob Javits Center, April 6-15, 2007.
Our Taxi 07 Exhibit displayed eight taxi vehicle prototypes, two historic taxis, and many options for future vehicle and system-wide improvements. With information on everything from sustainability and fuel efficiency to ease of use and accessibility to system stats and taxi history, the exhibit was the most comprehensive display of information on New York City's taxis ever mounted.
This publication shows – and tells – the story about our Taxi 07 project with particular focus on the physical content of the exhibit. Short excerpts of the informational content about taxi drivers, passengers, sustainability and technology are also included.
